Our good friend & local host, Chris, owner of SeaStars Expeditions, provides amazing experiences creating lifelong memories. Whether you want to surf, beach hop, zipline, whitewater raft, visit a volcano, fish, ride a horse, or take a nature hike with monkeys, sloths and waterfalls, Chris will customize an incredible experience to meet the wishes of you and your party. He was born and raised in Coco, is a licensed tour guide, speaks excellent English and knows all the best places/local contacts to fulfill your dream vacation. Surfing/Beach Adventures:
Surfing, paddle boarding, skim boarding, beach tours and beach yoga are available and so much more at SeaStars. Chris, a certified surf instructor and certified open water lifeguard, provides surf instruction for all levels and ages.
National Volcanic Parks/EcoTours:
Spend a day at Rincón de la Vieja or Tenorio enjoying adventures including ziplining, hot springs, mud baths, river rafting, horseback riding, waterfalls or hiking amongst sloths, monkeys, butterflies, frogs and other wildlife. A must see is Monte Verde Cloud Forest which is one of the most bio-diverse regions on the planet offering day or night hikes to experience abundant wildlife and birds, or spend the day on a wildlife adventure river boat at Palo Verde.
Fishing:
Coco is a quaint fishing and beach village. Chris can arrange for an incredible day of great fishing, snorkeling and beach hopping with a local captain who will take you to the best fishing spots, private coves for snorkeling and exploring caves. Los Baulas National Marine Park is nearby where you will find turtles, whales and dolphins swimming near your boat.
SPA Day:
For a day of pampering, there are many spas to choose from with a wide range of locations and services. Choose from a spa at a 5-star hotel or a private spa featuring open- air treatment rooms with ocean and jungle views.
